Biography

From the moment I picked up my mother’s Instamatic I was drawn to photography. Initially I liked the spontaneity and directness, over time I came to perfect my craft in the studio – sculpting objects and people with light to make photographs. 

Throughout my career I’ve been fortunate to work with some of the world’s best-known brands and agencies, but I still draw great pleasure from more experimental personal work; it influences my commissioned work and vice-versa.

Creative lighting and composition are at the heart of what I do. I relish the challenge of enhancing a client’s concept or narrative and problem solving to make them a reality, often building the sets or sourcing props myself.
